　　As one of China’s “ Top-10” Non-Government Funded higher educational institutions with over 10,000 resident students, Siyuan obtains fabulous social credit by its strict academic administration, regularized operation, creative educational philosophy and out-going international collaboration. It has been awarded over 30 honors by State and Provincial levels and its students have won over 65 items in various kinds of competitions. Siyuan is spreaded over 198 acres with 25,000 resident students. It is a comprehensive university with programs in science, engineering, arts, laws, economics, management and foreign languages which are devoted to preparing high level of professioanl and technologically applicable education for China’s West.
　　Siyuan has actively and widely developed its international cooperation with 25 higher institutions from 12 countries including USA, Canada, UK, Austria, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, India and Netherlands. It established an access to educational cooperation, credit articulation, faculty & students exchanges, internship in partner institutions and sharing of teaching resources. With approval from the State Ministry of Education in September, 2005, Siyuan successfully started the Dual Diploma Program with Canada’s Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology. Currently there are 300 resident students learning in this Joint Program at Siyuan. In 2007, Siyuan jointly explored and developed overseas internship program with Disney Worldwide Services, Inc.and US Dickinson State University in which more than 10 students from Siyuan are studying or practicing their paid internship in Florida Orlando Disney. Starting from 2008, Siyuan admits? international students every year from Russia, Kyrgyzstan for their Chinese language training.
